PREMIUM 925 COLLECTION
What does Sterling Silver stand for?
Sterling silver means that the jewelry consists of 92.5% pure silver, with the remaining 7.5% often filled with other metals such as copper. This makes the silver stronger and more durable, so that your jewelry stays beautiful for a long time without quickly deforming or wearing out. The high silver content ensures that sterling silver retains the bright, shiny appearance of pure silver, but is also strong enough for daily use.
Sterling silver is the standard for high-quality silver jewelry.
What is vermeil gold?
Vermeil gold is a luxury form of gold plating. It means that a silver jewel is covered with a thick layer of real gold of at least 2.5 microns and at least 10 carats. This is different from regular gold plating, where cheaper metals such as brass or copper are often used as a base. Because vermeil has real silver as a base and contains a thicker layer of gold, it is more durable and stays beautiful for longer. Cheaper gold plating wears out faster and can show a dull or discolored base layer, while vermeil retains its luxurious appearance.
What is 18K gold?
18K gold consists of 75% pure gold, supplemented with other metals that make the gold stronger. This means that it has the luxurious look of pure gold, but is also durable enough to wear daily without quickly becoming damaged.
Thanks to the high percentage of pure gold, 18K gold has a rich, warm colour that always remains in style.
What does '2.5 micron' stand for?
The term "2.5 microns" indicates the thickness of the gold layer applied to the jewelry.
A layer of 2.5 microns is considered a high quality gold plating, because the gold layer is thick enough to remain beautiful for a long time without wearing out quickly.
Can I swim and shower with it?
Although both 925 sterling silver and gold plated are quite durable, it is not recommended to swim or shower with them, especially on a daily basis.
We recommend wiping your jewelry, whether sterling silver or gold plated, before putting it in water. This will help you enjoy its beauty and extend its lifespan. Store it in a dry place and clean it regularly to keep it in top condition.
Usage advice 925 jewelry
The jewelry can become duller through contact with water, perfume and sunscreen. These substances can react with the gold and silver, reducing the shine.
Therefore, take off your jewelry when showering, swimming and exercising and store it in a safe place. Regular polishing with a soft cloth helps to keep it shining!
STAINLESS STEEL ITEMS
What is IPG plated gold?
"IPG" stands for "ion plating gold", which is a process that uses electric currents to deposit a layer of gold onto the surface of the jewelry. IPG plated gold jewelry is an alternative to solid gold jewelry because it offers the look of gold at a more affordable price.
Why is the base material stainless steel?
Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion and rust, making it ideal for durable jewelry that can withstand daily wear and tear. It is a non-reactive metal that does not easily cause skin irritation, making it suitable for people with sensitive skin. Compared to precious metals such as gold and silver, stainless steel is relatively inexpensive, making it a popular choice for price-conscious consumers.
What material is the jewelry made of?
To ensure that you are fully informed of the materials used in each piece of jewellery, we provide detailed specifications for each item on our website. You can easily find this information by going to the "Specifications" tab for each individual product.
Do the products include a warranty?
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of all our jewelry. That's why we're proud to offer a 1-year warranty on all of our items. This warranty covers any material or manufacturing defects, giving you peace of mind and confidence in your purchase.
Please note that this warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage resulting from misuse of the jewelry.
Can I swim with the jewelry?
While it is possible to wear your jewelry while bathing or swimming, we do not recommend this for daily use. Exposure to soap, seawater and other elements can always cause damage to jewelry, potentially affecting its appearance and lifespan.
To protect your jewelry, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, or participating in activities that may cause damage. If your jewelry gets wet, make sure to dry it.
