My name is Luuk, founder of Aliter Vivere, and I was stuck. Stuck in a life that didn’t make my heart beat faster. A job where I had to do what was asked, without room to color outside the lines. Creativity and freedom played no significant role. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with a job – but for me it felt empty. It gave me no energy, no inspiration.
Freedom has always been an important theme in my life. The travels I made only strengthened that urge. Yet I always chose to return to a job, only to realize again that it was not right. And if you ignore your own desires for long enough, that realization will catch up with you.
It was time for something bigger. Something I didn’t know if it would succeed. Time to write a new story, one I did believe in. My creativity and need for freedom had to find a place. And so Aliter Vivere was born – a jewelry brand with meaningful items, designed to inspire. To remind you that it’s okay to live a little more rebellious.
